- David Lim Chief Executive Officer As the founder and CEO of Noul, David Lim oversees the overall management of the company. He is committed to growing Noul into a global leader in the biohealthcare sector, creating a valuable enterprise that contributes to humanity. Prior to founding Noul, he worked as an investor in the biohealthcare field and led research and development at a medical device company. Since the early stages of Noul, he has led the company’s innovative technology development as an engineering leader. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
- Peter Kim Chief Legal Officer Attorney Peter Kim is one of the founding members of Noul. His role involves overseeing the company’s legal and regulatory issues, patents, and compliance. He joined Noul to pursue a meaningful career where his work can benefit a large community of people. Before starting Noul, Peter was a researcher at LG Electronics, then an attorney at KT corp., one of the largest telecommunications companies in Korea. Peter graduated from Seoul National University with a masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering, then graduated from Jeju University law school.
- Justin Ahn Chief Sustainability Officer Justin Ahn as the CSO (Chief Sustainability Officer) oversees Noul’s cultural, technical, and environmental sustainability. Justin joined Noul to grow it into a sustainable company that meets global standards. He is an expert in the topic of sustainability and was the first acting CSO in Korea. Before joining Noul, Justin worked at Posco Research Institute, British Standards Institution, and Slowalk.
- TH Kim Chief Business Officer / Managing Director of noul GmbH As CBO(Chief Business Officer) and Managing Director of noul GmbH (Noul Europe), he is responsible for overseeing collaborations with international organizations to drive public sector projects and facilitate global expansion of Noul's products. He joined the company due to Noul's potential in the field of global health and the integrity and capacity of its staff members. He has worked at investment banks and held executive positions at Credit Suisse after obtaining B.A. in Business Administration from Seoul National University. After consecutively being awarded with Master and Ph.D. in Public Health at the same university, he has contributed to global health as a consultant at the World Health Organization and an investment officer at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank making himself as an expert both in international finance and global health.
- Mark Lee Chief Financial Officer Mark Lee leads the financial management at Noul, overseeing Noul's financial planning, fund management, accounting, and internal controls. He joined Noul, deeply resonating with its vision and passion for international development cooperation, and aims to make significant contributions from a financial perspective as Noul grows into a global company. Prior to joining Noul, he worked at the Export-Import Bank of Korea, where he was responsible for financing overseas infrastructure projects, developing international development cooperation projects, and managing the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF). Before that, as a Certified Public Accountant, he performed audit and financial advisory services at Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University and a Master's degree in International Development Policy from Duke University.
- Kaleb Choi Head of Oncology Group Kaleb is the director of Noul's corporate research institute and leads the Oncology Group. He is dedicated to researching cutting-edge Bio-IT convergence technology and new AI-based Bio-diagnostic platforms targeting cells and tissues. He joined Noul with a strong belief in the company's mission, management philosophy, and leadership team. He is highly interested in securing future technologies that align with Noul's mission and making a positive impact on the health of one billion people. Before joining Noul, he worked in system IC design at SK Hynix (formerly Hynix Semiconductor), CMOS image sensor design at SiliconFile Technology, and led the development of semiconductor sensor-based digital real-time PCR platforms at OptoLane after earning his Ph.D. and entering the Bio-industry. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geoscience and a minor in Physics from Seoul National University, and a second Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university, gaining both scientific and engineering knowledge. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Dallas with a focus on Photonic MEMS.
- John Song Head of Hematology Group John is the head of Hematology Group at Noul with over 20 years of experience in software development. John was attracted to Noul's mission and management philosophy which led him to join the team. John is contributing to Noul's software development by utilizing his experience in various fields such as advertising, search, cloud, big data, and design tools. John graduated from KAIST with a Computer Science as well as a Software Expert degree.
- Eugene Kim Head of System Group Eugene is the leader of the System Group at Noul, leading the development of the hardware division including instruments, circuits, optics, and firmware for the miLab platform. He joined Noul because he sympathize with the company's mission and philosophy, and strives to develop products that can have a positive impact on the world through innovative technology. Before joining Noul, he led product development at Seetron and Honeywell, and received a Master's degree in Agricultural and Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University.
- Daniel Jeong Head of Sales & CS Circle As the head of Sales and CS Circle, Daniel is responsible for global sales in cooperation with partners. Daniel Joined the company because he was attracted to Noul's valuable mission and management philosophy. Before joining Noul, Daniel worked as the head of Sales and Marketing in Bioneer, HP and Samsung Electronics. He studied architectural engineering at Yonsei University and earned his master's degree in Computer Science at University of Colorado, Denver.
- Tessa Kim Head of Market & Product Strategy Circle Tessa is responsible for market and product strategy to accelerate miLab's global expansion as Market & Product Strategy Circle Leader at Noul. Drawn to Noul's innovative decentralized diagnostic platform product concept and sustainable management philosophy, she previously worked in data-driven marketing, sales strategy and business planning at Lotte Duty Free, LG U+ and Wavve/Tving.
- Andy Hwang Head of Quality Mgt. Circle As the leader of Quality management Circle, He is in charge of Noul's quality department, including development quality, mass production quality, and quality system. He joined Noul to achieve company's mission together, and he is striving to create the highest quality products and services by complying with the quality standards required by stakeholders. Before joining Noul, he was in charge of development quality verification at smartphone manufacturer Pantech, set up mass production quality by leading the mass production quality division of dental medical devices at Medit, and led the SW quality division at a Kakao affiliate.
- Benjamin Jang Head of Production Circle Benjamin is the head of Production Circle at Noul, He oversee product production and manufacturing technology. He joined Noul to practice company's mission and management philosophy, and he is working to improve productivity and secure manufacturing competitiveness based on securing a high level of product quality. Before joining Noul, he served as head of the production technology and manufacturing technology department in the IT and electronics manufacturing industry and had many years of expatriate experience.
- Lena Shin Head of General Mgt. Circle Lena worked in INGO for years, dreaming of becoming a person who can help to make a better world. After finding out that Noul is trying to solve social problems in its business, she joyfully joined Noul. Lena is currently in charge of leading the General Management Circle.
- Shin Cho Malaria Expert "Dr. Cho received his Ph.D. in veterinary parasitology, a cornerstone of veterinary medicine. He joined the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) department of parasitology in 1997. He continued his tenure at KDCA for more than 20 years as a research officer and then as the parasitology department director. During his time at KDCA, his research focused on developing a dual vaccine system as the head of the Malaria control R&D team, developing natural herb therapies for Malaria, and developing Malaria elimination and surveillance models. Dr. Cho has made significant contributions to the elimination of parasitic diseases both in academic and practical spheres. Since 2010, he has published numerous papers to SCI journals and registered three patents on improving parasite detection and diagnosis. He is considered South Korea's top expert in Malaria prevention and surveillance."
- Grace Kim Bioengineering Expert Grace is a Bioengineering Expert in charge of Principle Research in Noul's Biomedical Research Department. She was attracted by Noul's valuable mission and joined the company to work with like-minded colleagues and solve challenging problems. Before joining Noul, she received postdoctoral training at Washington University in St. Louis and worked at the University of Chicago, CHA University School of Medicine, and Eyegene Corporation. She earned her Ph.D. in Genetics from Seoul National University.
- Young Shin AI Expert Young, one of the co-founders of Noul, is an AI expert. He founded Noul in hopes of utilizing AI technology in a more meaningful way. Before joining Noul, He worked at Hyundai Heavy Industries and Samsung SDS, and received a PhD in Computer Vision from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University.
- Leo Lee HW/FW Development Expert Leo is a HW/FW Development Expert at Noul. He was attracted to Noeul's mission and management philosophy and is contributing to developing innovative products that can solve health issues for humanity based on his knowledge of Hardware, Firmware, FPGA, MFC, and other development skills he acquired while developing digital image processing-related products for over 20 years. Before joining Noul, he worked at Hitron Systems and graduated from Seoul National University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor's degree.
- Raul Jeong QC Expert Raul is a QC Expert in the Noul's Qaulity Management Department. He joined because fascinated by Noul's mission and miLab products, and He is striving hard to produce high-quality products by applying the mass production quality control advantages he has experienced in the IT industry to medical device quality control. Before joining Noul, he worked as a quality manager and expatriate at Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., Ltd., and as head of the quality department and overseas expatriate at Optis Co., Ltd.
- Emma Jung IR Expert As IR Expert in the IR/PR department at Noul, She is committed to maximizing the company's corporate value. She joined Noul because of an interest in its challenging mission to overcome humanity's issues through AI and biotechnology. With Noul's exceptional technology and products, we strive to solve challenging problems and achieve our mission, contributing significantly to the company's growth into the Global No.1 AI healthcare company from an IR perspective. Before joining Noul, She successfully completed three KOSDAQ IPOs, including one with CorelineSoft. Her experience spans managing corporate planning and IR in listed companies within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and semiconductor industries, consistently working to enhance corporate value. She earned a Bachelo's degree in Economics and Accounting from Chung-Ang University.
- Sangsu Nam IT/security Expert Sangsu works as an IT/security expert. He worked in INGO for many years to help create a better place. Because Noul has a mission and philosophy as good as NGOs, he joined Noul to contribute to its mission.

- Hans-Peter Beck Ph.D. University of Basel, Swiss TPH "Dr. Hans-Peter Beck is a Professor emeritus for Molecular Parasitology at the University of Basel and worked for 25 years at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Basel. He works at the team of the Innovation office of the University of Basel as scientific advisor. Dr. Beck’s expertise is in the molecular understanding of tropical diseases with focus on malaria. His main contribution to the field was the establishment of molecular genotyping methods in clinical and control trials for antimalarial drugs, as well as the understanding of protein-protein interactions within the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum. Dr. Beck obtained his PhD from the University of Tübingen, Germany, and before he joined the Swiss TPH, he held several scientific positions at the University of Edinburgh and Glasgow, UK; at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI), Melbourne, Australia; at the Papua New Guinea Institute of Medical Research (PNG IMR); and at the University of Witten-Herdecke, Germany."
- Hidde Ploegh Ph.D. Harvard Medical School, Boston Children's Hospital "Professor Ploegh is a faculty member at Boston Children's Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and senior investigator in its program in cellular and molecular medicine. As an immunologist, biochemist and biotechnologist, he is a pioneer in developing the 'sortagging method' used in protein engineering. He has contributed to our understanding of how certain viruses can avoid detection by the immune system. The sortagging method has a wide range of applications such as quantitative labeling, modification of certain proteins for therapeutic purposes etc. He contributed to the development of a microengraving method for high-throughput single cell assays and nanobody applications. Professor Ploegh was previously a member of the Whitehead Institute at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School as the director of its graduate program in immunology. He is a member of EMBO (1986), a correspondent of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (1997) , a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (2000) and a member of the National Academy of Sciences (2016)."
- Jong Hye Woo Ph.D. Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital Dr. Jong Hye Woo is an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Woo received a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, and subsequently earned his master's and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Southern California. He has been awarded the Best Dissertation Award from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, the NIH/NIDCD K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award, and the Distinguished Investigator Award from the Academy of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Research. As a top-class researcher, he focuses on medical image analysis and machine/deep learning for various clinical applications.
- KiTae Nam Ph.D. Nano System Institute, Seoul National University Prof. Ki Tae Nam is a professor in the department of materials science and engineering at the Seoul National University (SNU). He was a postdoc at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab after he got a PhD degree at MIT and B.S./M.S. at SNU. He is pioneering new research at the interface of biological systems and nanomaterials as an effort to make enzyme mimetic materials. Recently, his group demonstrated that peptides can program the atomic morphology of nanomaterials for biosensors and electrochemical devices.
- Kyu-Hwan Jung Ph.D. Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Science & Technology, SKKU Dr. Kyu-Hwan Jung is a professor at the Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology at Sungkyunkwan University. In 2015, he co-founded VUNO, a company specializing in deep learning-based medical data analysis, where he served as the Chief Technology Officer and led the research and development efforts. After earning his Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Engineering from POSTECH, he worked on big data and AI-related research and development at SK Telecom and Samsung Electronics' Advanced Institute of Technology. He is currently recognized as one of the leading experts in medical artificial intelligence in South Korea.
- Seung-Ah Lee Ph.D. Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Yonsei University Dr. Seung-Ah Lee is an associate professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University, leading advanced research in microscopy, biomedical optical imaging, computational imaging, and deep learning-based optical imaging. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University and Ph.D. from Caltech, and completed postdoctoral research at Stanford. She has conducted significant R&D in biomedical imaging at Google X and Verily Life Sciences. At Yonsei, supported by grants from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, she develops novel optical imaging technologies and collaborates with companies like Samsung and LG. Her work has a major impact in both academia and industry.
